joshtheyipper:
It’s so hard to encourage people who don’t know Christ. I feel like I’m lying all the time.
You can do it, I tell them. You’ve got this. If you love it, you will be able to do it. If you work hard and put your mind to it, you’ve got this.

After IHOP…and Hunan…I contemplate my detestable abdominal stomach fat.
Don’t get me wrong; I’m actually on good terms with my unproportional inner thighs, the slightly jiggly underarms, and even my puffed-over-the-dress-around-your-shoulder fat. BUT THIS STOMACH POUCH HAS GOT TO GO.

A youth pastor once told me
jeschang:
You don’t need to search for a girl or run after a girl. That’s not how you find her. All you gotta do is aim for God and start running. Soon, you’ll notice someone else running beside you, maybe even faster than you. That’s who you’ll want to go for.
One of the wisest things I’ve ever heard. This applies for girls too.

pancakes
Had the strangest urge to eat pancakes.
Had recipe for fluffy, oven pancakes.
Dug through cabinets for oven safe pan.
Found one that was oven safe up to 300 F, not the 392 F I needed.
Searched baking blogs like MAD….
Found recipe for stove-top buttermilk pancakes.
Made, ate, then napped off pancakes.
